IFDA is committed to providing research, tools and resources that encourage and support foodservice distribution companies as they build more equitable and inclusive workplaces. As part of that effort, IFDA conducted a survey to establish a baseline of companies’ activities and strategies around diversity and inclusion, as well as map workforce demographics.
- Workforce demographics, including details on gender, age and race/ethnicity by job function (executive/senior management, middle management, warehouse, driver, sales and other).
- Key metrics on diversity and inclusion activities and strategies, including types of diversity initiatives and strategies, challenges, recruitment practices, investments, and measuring results.
- Data based on responses from 34 foodservice distribution companies in the U.S. and Canada.
