Today, at the IFDA Solutions Conference, Mark Harman, IFDA Treasurer, and President of Stanz Foodservice/Troyer Foods, was honored with the 2023 IFDA Cornerstone Award on the general session stage.
This award honors an industry leader who has given above and beyond what is expected and achieved a positive, lasting impact on IFDA’s success.
IFDA’s President and CEO Mark S. Allen shared a few thoughts on Harman’s tenure during the ceremony:
Mark has been a key member of the IFDA Board of Directors since January of 2016; he joined our Executive Committee in January of 2017, became our Treasurer that same year, and has held that position ever since.
Mark is a great representative for the entire industry – from writing and publishing Op-Eds advocating industry priorities to providing an industry voice in the media during the supply chain challenges following the pandemic.
Mark has provided a steady hand and expert leadership over our finances, ensuring we have the necessary resources to accomplish our mission.
Mark has been generous with his time and counsel and has been a great resource to me, our finance team, and the IFDA staff.
He is a strong advocate for foodservice distribution and does a remarkable job representing the interests of ALL distributors.
