Hourly-comp-2021-cover.jpgCompensation rates are moving faster than normal due to the tight labor market, so IFDA followed up on our biannual cross-industry hourly compensation survey with a supplemental compensation pulse survey.

The results are based on confidential surveys from 117 distribution companies providing data for 555 locations nationwide, of which 45 companies and 140 locations are foodservice distributors. Data is reported for the period June 1, 2021 - August 31, 2021.

Contents include:

  • Wage rates for five positions: experienced and inexperienced/starting Class A CDL delivery driver, night shift selector, day shift selector, and stocker.

  • Three data breakdown categories: all distributors and foodservice distributors (IFDA firms), sales/shipment volume (Under $25M, $25M-$100M, over $100M), and geographic region (Northeasst, South, Midwest and West).
  • Data reported for each position: average weekly hours, median and average base hourly wage,  and median and average effective gross rate.

Price: Participating companies receive free access to this report and more. Non-participating IFDA members $995. Non-members $1,995.
