IFDA is Enhancing its Premier Annual Gathering to Meet the Needs of a Growing and Evolving Industry
McLean, VA - Today, the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) announced a new name and reimagined program for its premier annual event,
formerly the IFDA Distribution Solutions Conference. On Sept. 11-13 in Fort Worth, Texas, the IFDA Solutions Conference
will provide actionable solutions and strategic insight to a broader audience, delivered in fresh and interactive new formats.
“In the past few years, the world has changed exponentially, and our annual conference must evolve to meet the needs of the entire food distribution community, including foodservice, convenience, and wholesale grocery,” said Mark S. Allen, President and CEO of IFDA. “This is a natural transition that recognizes the diverse needs of today’s food distributors.”
The IFDA Solutions Conference will offer interactive education designed by and for operations professionals in food distribution, led by a world-class roster of industry speakers who will cut through the noise on today’s biggest distributor issues and innovations. The IFDA Solutions Conference builds upon the legacy of the Distribution Solutions Conference by providing an enhanced platform to connect with professionals and experts across distribution segments and skill sets, including transportation, facility, talent, and management.
“The IFDA Solutions Conference will do exactly what its name says: provide crucial education and solutions that enable distributors to elevate their businesses,” said Jim Hoss, SVP, Transportation & Operations, Cash-Wa Distributing
and Chair of the IFDA Solutions Conference Planning Committee. “Attending the IFDA Solutions Conference is your unrivaled opportunity in 2023 to find distribution answers, connect with your peers and leading solution providers, and learn about the latest insights and technologies to help your business thrive.”
