As competition for qualified employees heats up, it's more important than ever to understand how to stay competitive with compensation and benefits, not only with fellow foodservice distributors, but with companies across the wider wholesale distribution industry where your candidates may look for jobs.
Foodservice distributors are encouraged to participate in IFDA's 2018 Cross-Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey. Results will provide a robust set of benchmarking data from across the wholesale distribution industry, covering executives and 35 common distributor staff positions, and will be available for free to participating companies.
The survey is available in the online Cross-Industry Compensation Benchmarking Portal, which is an invaluable business tool that gives respondents a better understanding of how their company's compensation levels and benefits practices compare to other distributors/wholesalers, both inside and outside of foodservice distribution. It allows participants to search and filter results to compare their own data with data from companies with similar profiles, in addition to download reports.
The survey is conducted by Industry Insights, Inc., an objective independent research firm, that specializes in these types of studies. Industry Insights guarantees confidential information submitted by association members will not be released to any person, company, or organization for any purposes.
The deadline to complete the survey has been extended to May 18, 2018. Questions? Email IFDA's Director of Research & Industry Insights Annika Stensson. Complete the survey now.
