Nominate your company's up-and-coming leaders to IFDA Rising Stars, a celebration of our industry's bright future. Rising Stars will be recognized at the 2023 IFDA Solutions Conference, the industry's premier showcase which shines a light on foodservice distribution's best and brightest.
Foodservice Distribution Rising Stars 2023
At the 2023 IFDA Solutions Conference in Fort Worth, we will celebrate food distribution’s brightest young talent on the industry’s biggest stage. IFDA member companies are encouraged to submit candidates for recognition at the Solutions Conference and through IFDA’s communication channels. The nomination deadline is July 14, 2023.
Please note that Rising Stars is not a competition that IFDA staff will be judging. Rather, it is an opportunity for our member companies to showcase their emerging leaders at the industry’s biggest event. All candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will be honored as Rising Stars.
To be eligible for Rising Stars, team members must:
- Be under 40 years old
- Have worked in foodservice distribution for at least five years
- Demonstrate a record of industry success and innovation
- Register to attend the 2023 IFDA Solutions Conference by the nomination deadline.
Companies are limited to two nominations for each candidate discipline:
- Communications/Public Relations
- Culinary
- Engineering
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Management
- Marketing
- Sales
- Supply Chain
- Transportation Operations
- Warehouse Operations
A supervisor or company executive must nominate candidates – no self-nominations will be accepted. Nominations (submitted via our
web form) must include:
- High-resolution image (at least 1MB in .jpg/.png/.tif formats)
- Brief biography that provides supporting details on how this individual has contributed to their company’s success

How will Rising Stars be recognized?
Rising Stars will be honored at the 2023 IFDA Solutions Conference. They will appear in onsite imagery and be recognized with a press release, in conference presentations, as well as additional recognition on IFDA's web and social media channels.
