“Given the quantity of people who enter Congressional offices daily it is more important than ever that our members remain engaged in the process,” said Jon Eisen, IFDA’s senior vice president of government relations. “Being engaged means taking the time to get to know your elected officials and giving them the opportunity to get to know your business in a memorable and meaningful way. Facility visits are the best way to inform lawmakers about the challenges faced by foodservice distributors.”
Gordon Food Service is the largest family-operated foodservice distribution company in North America, with operations in the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and Southwest regions of the U.S. and coast-to-coast in Canada. GFS also operates more than 170 Gordon Food Service Stores and Gordon Restaurant Market locations nationwide.
